Why access control? Today’s Access control systems can be used for a number of uses. Access into secure areas being the primary function, controlling access and being able to manage who is able to come in and when they can come in. It can also generate emails on alarms, provide reports of employees coming and going into areas, and just see who is in the building giving a count for safety reasons. It also eliminates keys. Imagine if you had 50 doors at your facility and someone lost the master key. You would have to change 50 locks.
